Weekend Away

Chad and I decided we needed to get away with the boys. We decided to go to the Country Inn and Suites next to the Bass Pro Shop in Portage, Indiana. The boys had a ton of fun and did not want to get out of the pool. Jacob had to show off his new swimming abilitys to everyone, which included jumping off the edge and going under all by himself. As well as swimming underwater. On the way home everyone fell asleep except for dad.

Today Jake and I went to Sarah Grotenhuis's parents farm with our little hands group from church. The sheep just had their babies and Jake was able to hold one.

He took Avery for a quad ride to show off how fast he could go. Jeran and Ben came to visit from Chicago. He also loves hanging out with his neighbor Michael they are only two months apart. In Oct. we took the gang to go see Veggie Tales Live they were waiting very patiently for it to start.

Jacobs 4th Birthday

Jake chose to go to Red Robin for his Birthday, Bruce and Annie took him to see Walking With The Dinosaurs so of course his cake had to be dinosaurs.

Halloween 08

This year Jake wanted a Bob and Larry Pumkin so Uncle Barry and Aunt Cindy provided us with the perfect pumpkins for that from their amazing pumpkin patch at Harvest Moon Acres. We also took the kids to the Outdoor Discovery Center where they went trick or treating and went on a hayride.

First Day Of School

Jake started 3 school in the fall and really loves it. He loves singing, gym, library, learning bible verses, and most of all learning about Jesus.

Soccer/Swimming Lessons

Jake is very active in sports this summer we put him in an 8 week soccer camp, and this winter he decided he wanted to take swimming lessons so he took private lessons and by the end was doing so good we signed him up for more.

Summer Trip To Michigan Adventure

Every summer we go to Michigan Adventure and every summer Jake asks if he can go on the big roller costers hopefully this summer.

I took the boys downtown to get their pictures taken and they raked it in from all the the tourists taking their pictures.
